The Strategic process is currently taking place, so the result and income can only be supposed. The company is a small family business called Helite that started 8 years ago and specializes in Airbag systems for individual protection. The activity mainly deals with horseback riding and motorcycle applications. Smaller application fields are already active in the Snowmobile and Quad. Research is being conducted for enormous applications such as: Baby seats and Old people. In other words, the company has much to discover, research, invest, develop and commercialize. The potential growth is promising and many actors are now ready to take a share of the profits. In 2010 Helite generated an 84% growth and forecasts for next year are even more positive. These financial results were what led us to think about planning a strategy. Indeed, the results prove that the company has a real potential. To assure this exponential success, the company needs to have as many key factors of success in their hands. As we will see in the SWOT analysis, problems are yet to be resolved and threats will inevitably be faced.
Helite's Mission is to serve, in various sectors, as many clients as possible, in their product development for individuals to benefit from better protection in case of accidents or falls.

SWOT analysis Now is the time to list and conflate the external and internal criteria that make the company what it is now. This analysis will hopefully help to formulate plans and later take decisions for the company to thrive. [...] Helite could have 4 or 5 different departments. Product handling and quality check, conception and development, international sales: customer and supplier service, management. The company will keep its learning skills, which helps solving problems systematically, transfers knowledge throughout the employees and maintains space for the experimental approach, by having the departments interact with each other but on scheduled and prepared bases. The employees that will be part of the productive pool will have gold in their hands, thus, potential for career development and interesting financial compensation. [...]
[...] The hiring and training process will also need to consider integrating an ad hoc employee to face the poor communication, press relation, marketing and selling of the products. Helite has a prosper future if it takes on the good opportunities. The company is in contact with different actors and airbag market opportunists and they try and stay opened to every new idea. The hard part is to distribute time and evaluate which idea and project should be dealt with first. [...]

We would obviously hire a person more but not understand that the problem was the whole task distribution.
